Made from the Armenian indigenous grape varieties Areni (90%) and Syrah (10%)
The vineyards are located in the ancient wine region of Aragatsotn in Armenia. The ground is
volcanic and rich in natural rocks and minerals. The plot is located on hills with slopes to the south and southwest, at an altitude of 1,050 meters. The climate provides long hours of sunshine during the day and cooler temperatures at night. Our personal winemaking philosophy also contributes to the terroir; a combination of tradition, innovation and passion.
VINI FICATION AND AGING
The annual rainfall for the year 2018 was average, with favorable day and night contrasts in the temperature. This is evident in the balanced structure of the wine. Extensive, long dry weather kept diseases at bay, resulting in an excellent harvest coming in. Some of the more intense heat of the year dulled the height of the vineyard which brought cool nights. The grapes are harvested in late September to mid-October.
THE VINT-AGE
The wine starts with a rich violet hue, accompanied by notes of dark cherries and spices, changing into a soft coffee and chocolate. A structured, stylish palate that '
is delicious on the palate and that gives a smooth, elegant and persistent aftertaste. Both an everyday wine that is easy to drink and one with character and depth. A wine born to mature and perfect for any occasion.
